Great screen, resolution is that of when the car was brand new! My old screen was bubbling up, dim and becoming unresponsive to touch. This replacement is an absolute unit!
I will note however that this is not an easy install as others have claimed, but that's no fault of the product or the seller. I just thought I would let future prospective buyers know what they're getting into. For me it was worth doing myself, $100 beats $1,500 from the dealer any day obviously.
I am a technician by trade and while I didn't feel like I was out of my element at any point with this install, I feel like the level of ease was oversold online. It took 4 solid hours to complete.
Getting it out of the car is relatively straight forward, but tedious and time consuming if you're trying not to damage any trim pieces. You also need to remove the front vents/ hazard light connector. You will need plastic trim prying tools because there's a butt load of plastic tabs that you have to be mean to.
When you get the unit unplugged you have to take off some screws but then there are even more plastic tabs! A phone repair kit is recomended for the screen/sound unit.
The old screen is bonded to the housing by 3m glue pads, so expect to make a mess getting it completely off. Use a heat gun, a razor blade and some alcohol to get it all cleaned up so the new adhesive pads can mate properly. You also need to be very careful with the ribbon cables, they're very sensitive.
Those are my tips, if you've replace a phone screen and done some work inside the dash you can be confident that it's doable especially if you're trying to save the money, but it's not as easy as others advertise.
